Continuing to reflect this initial endeavour the SCITT has a very strong SMSC ethos which permeates all teaching as well as a sound RE element. We have a high percentage of ‘outstanding’ and ‘good’ graduates.
Q. What are the advantages of the LDBS SCITT?
A. We are a very small organisation, the advantages of which are; trainees get to know each other very well and work collaboratively, tutors get to know the strengths of their trainees and are able to give them personal support and advice through out the taught and school based elements of the course. We understand the expectations of LDBS schools and recruit and train teachers with this in mind.
