Teaching in London

"Teaching in London is always a challenge and always satisfying."

London is a cosmopolitan and vibrant city renowned for energy, excitement and opportunities. The London Diocesan Board for Schools (LDBS) serves 147 schools located across 18 Local Authorities (LAs) north of the River Thames and within the M25 motorway. The LDBS works in partnership with the LAs and staff are able to take advantage of the training and advisory opportunities offered by both the LA and the LDBS.

Teachers working in LDBS schools are encouraged to further their professional development and courses are provided for preparing to undertake a senior management role, and to progress to become Headteachers.
