Campaign for a Secondary School in Camden
Following the support shown at the Lent Talks on Education, the LDBS is seeking to open a Church of England Secondary School in Camden . We are in discussion with the Council about their plans for a new school on a site in Adelaide Road , Swiss Cottage. This school may be subject to an open competition in which interested organisation may bid to run the school. If so, the LDBS will enter this open competition.

campaign has been started by local parents and churches to gather support for the new school to be a C of E school. Details of their campaign can be found on http://cssc.squarespace.com . There is likely to be much opposition from those in Camden who do not believe in faith schools. However, we believe that the existence of so many popular and successful C of E primary schools indicates that there is demand for a C of E secondary school. Please support this campaign.
